Captain Chris
Captain Chris is an insured, United States Coast Guard OUPV licensed captain. He has fished the east end Long Island waters all his life.
This guy just loves to fish! He uses his local knowledge to get you on the hottest bite. Bottom fishing, jig and pop, live bait fishing, and trolling, this captain can do it all.
Catering to all types of anglers, first timers always get a quick lesson from the Captain. Capt. Chris makes sure every trip is safe, fun, action packed, and full of fish on the deck!
The Vessel
This Cowboy sails on a 2013 Parker 25 foot center console designed with the fisherman in mind. It’s open deck has all the room you need to fish and more! With its 9’6” beam it has that big center console feel. The deep-V hull design provides the smoothest ride on long runs and sporty days. Filled with USCG approved safety equipment, This vessel was built to get filled with fish!
We fish shimano and penn reels, paired with shimano and jigging world rods. The Captain is obsessed with his gear, always keeping it in prime condition for every fish fight. Hand made rigs, jigs, and poppers are all supplied on the Saltwater Cowboy. Now lets get this boat underway, bend those rods, and tighten those lines!
